Classes

These classes meet 1x per week for 1 hour with a guarantee of 3 hours of instruction per month. Classes are self-paced.  Students will provide fabric and notions such as elastic for each project.  Classes have 5-6 students each having their own workstation with a sewing machine. These classes meet September - May. 

This class if for adults only and is on Wednesday morning, 9:30-11:00 am. The studio is open most Wednesday mornings. Please refer to the calendar for specific dates.  All skill levels are welcome.  There are several different curriculum options or you can bring in your own projects. This class meets September - May. 

A 4-week, instructor-led sewing experience for all skill levels. Each session focuses on learning, creating, and building sewing skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

The Learn to Sew Workshop will cover the basics function of the sewing machine as well as elements of garment construction such as seam allowances. This class can be a stand alone class, just giving you the basics or you can move into any of the weekly classes, Adult Sewing Series, Adult Open Studio or any workshop offerings. 

In this advanced-level class, students will further develop their technical sewing abilities while exploring the entrepreneurial side of their craft. Alongside creating high-quality projects, students will learn how to evaluate the craftsmanship of their work, understand product pricing strategies, manage supply costs, and begin identifying local craft shows and markets where they can showcase and sell their creations.
