Classes

Kids Group Class - Weekly

These classes meet 1x per week for 1 hour with a guarantee of 3 hours of instruction per month.  Monthly tuition is $75 and there is an Annual Enrollment Fee of $50 which covers the workbook and patterns. Classes are self-paced.  Students will provide fabric and notions such as elastic for each project.  Classes have 5-6 students each having their own workstation with a sewing machine. These classes meet September - May. 

Open Sew Studio

This class if for adults only and is on Wednesday morning, 9:30-11:00 am. The studio is open most Wednesday mornings. Please refer to the calendar for specific dates.  All skill levels are welcome.  There are several different curriculum options or you can bring in your own projects. This class meets September - May. 

Camps

Track-out camps will be offered throughout the year.  No sewing experience is required and campers do not to be current students.  Summer camps will be offered in June and July.  Camps will usually be either from 9-12 or 1-4. All supplies will be provided for projects. Price on camps will depend on projects.

Adult Intro Classes

The Intro to Sewing Class will cover the basics function of the sewing machine as well as elements of garment construction such as seam allowances. This class can be a stand alone class, just giving you the basics or you can move onto the You Can Make It program. The Intro to Sewing Class is a pre-requisite for the “You Can Make It” classes.  Class will be 2-hours and you will leave with a completed project and a take home reference guide. Class cost is $65.

Advanced Sewing & Small Business Skills

In this advanced-level class, students will further develop their technical sewing abilities while exploring the entrepreneurial side of their craft. Alongside creating high-quality projects, students will learn how to evaluate the craftsmanship of their work, understand product pricing strategies, manage supply costs, and begin identifying local craft shows and markets where they can showcase and sell their creations.
